When you think of a fully glam look, you probably think of the holiday season… I know I do!
There is something so special about doing a fully done glamorous look while the Christmas lights twinkle and the snow is falling.
Full glam can me anything you want it to be — it can be your normal makeup routine with an extra oomph, or it can be a total change up from what you normally go for.
You don’t have to change a lot about your base makeup, like foundation and concealer to get a more glamorous look. If you go for more natural, light face makeup I recommend going with something slightly more full coverage. Otherwise, you can add a few bits and pieces to make you look more glamorous and holiday ready!
You can play around with so many different eye looks, from glitter to a strong winged eyeliner and dramatic lashes. My favorite products to use to create a holiday eye look are:
- LusterEYES: This intense, shiny liquid liner can create a gorgeous cat eye and really pull together a look. The shiny finish also adds something special and beautiful to your eyes.
- Glitter Shadows: Doing a normal eyeshadow look put adding some glitter on top will make your eyes pop and it’s not really the holidays without glitter! Using your finger in a regular glitter eyeshadow is a sure fire way to make the glitter very pigmented and have it stand out. I love the glitter from the Bowery Palette as well as the Celestial Bliss eyeshadow palette. They are soft, pigmented and I love the cooler tones!
- Mascara: Drama, drama, drama is what I want when it comes to my holiday lashes! It really opens up your eyes and completes your look. My go-to is LashBOSS because of the volume and length it provides.
When I get glam, I use Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter but you can do whatever you feel comfortable with! I definitely think that highlighter is important during the holidays because I feel like it completes the look and looks more glamorous. Adding a bit of Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in the color of your choice adds a glow to any look!
If you want to take it a step further, try adding Dewdreamer Illuminating Drops to your primer or foundation for a real lit from within glow!
*Pro tip: Wet your Baked Gelato Illuminator for a more intense, glimmering sheen.
Is there anything that screams December more than a red lip? I didn’t think so! I try to wear a red lip as often as possible during the holiday season and my go-to is our Fifth Ave Ruby Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick.
It’s the creamiest, most pigmented formula and the curved bullet makes application a breeze.
If a red lip scares you, use our Ruby lip liner to line and fill in your lips, that way you have a nice outline to fill in your lips with.
*If you want to pick up both products, we have a nice little bundle of them for $21 (the price of one Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick)
