Introducing: Fifty Kisses Liquid Lip Color

We’ve talked before about liquid lipstick trends and how everyone has their own take on it.  Liquid lipsticks really came on the scene about two years ago when everyone started craving a matte lip. Matte lipsticks are fine and dandy, but there is something truly special about a lip product that is transfer proof & long lasting.

Matte liquid lipsticks can really make any makeup look ultra chic and glamorous. They have definitely been a favorite of mine and I’m so excited to announce that we’ve released new liquid lipsticks at Laura Geller Beauty!

We already had a product called Luscious Lips Liquid Lipstick that are incredible, but now we’ve amped it up a bit.

Fifty Kisses Liquid Lip Locking Color comes in 8 shades, everything from a nude to a true red to a vibrant orchid shade.

They have an ultra smooth formula, intense pigment, and are VERY long lasting. My favorite thing about Fifty Kisses is that it is not drying. A lot of liquid lipsticks get flack for being too drying on the lips, to the point where it is uncomfortable, cracking, and very flaky.

That is SO not the case with Fifty Kisses — they are uber comfortable on the lips, won’t dry you out, and apply so smoothly. They’re enriched with Sunflower Extract, which helps the smooth application; Apricot Butter which nourishes & conditions the lips; Almond Oil, to help protect the color & allowing for true vibrancy; and a special complex that helps the formula last for over 8 hours.

I can put this on in the morning when I come into the office & it looks pretty much the same when I’m leaving. By far my favorite shades are Makeout Merlot & Beige Bite.

The best way to wear any liquid lipstick is by exfoliating & moisturizing your lips beforehand. This will ensure that your color lasts all day and that the application is as smooth as possible.

My favorite way to exfoliate the lips is with our Lip Strip Sugar Scrub, but I also really enjoy the ELF Lip Exfoliator and LUSH’s lip scrub in Bubblegum. To moisturize my lips before application, I like to keep it simple with Burt’s Bees Lip Balm; it’s not too greasy and doesn’t leave any shine behind that will interfere with the matte color.

I’ve tried many liquid lipsticks in my day, but I have to say, Fifty Kisses is the best one I’ve used.

These are now available on LauraGeller.com & Ulta Beauty!
